Dance Code of Conduct- all students and attendees

DON LUGO DANCE CODE OF CONDUCT- ALL STUDENTS AND ATENDEES 

School dances constitute some of the social activities during the school year. Classes and ASB sponsor dances and the admission price is reduced for ASB card holders. All dances are for Don Antonio Lugo High School students; however, guests are allowed for some dances. Guest passes for dances must be obtained from the Director of Activities and approved by administration before any ticket may be purchased. Guests 21 years of age or older WILL NOT be allowed to attend. Guest passes must be completed and submitted by the assigned due date to be considered. All guests are required to have a picture I.D. Tickets for all dances that are held by the Student Body of Don Antonio Lugo High School, or by any club or organization will go on sale in advance to students with an I.D. card and ASB card. Dances are considered a school activity regardless of the location and/or time of day. There are no refunds for purchased dance tickets. 

For all dances attendees must be at the dance by 8:30 pm and can’t leave until 9:45pm.  Attendees who do not check in by 8:30 will have administration call parents/guardians for a safety check.  

 Any Don Lugo student or guest of a Don Lugo student attending the dance will be searched upon arrival  (small purses preferred) Breathalyzers will be on site. If found in possession or under the influence of alcohol or any controlled substance, or in violation of the behavior code while at any Don Lugo activity including arrival in all forms of transportation, students will be removed from the activity and may be reported to the local police. Parents will be notified immediately. By purchasing a dance ticket all students agree to adhere to this policy.  CLOTHING APPROPRIATE FOR A SCHOOL FUNCTION MUST BE WORN. DANCING WHICH IS CONSIDERED IN POOR TASTE CAN BE GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL FROM THE DANCE WITH NO REFUND.   Any questions please see an assistant principal.
