Parents/guardians of any student residing within the CVUSD attendance boundary may apply to enroll their student in a CVUSD school other than their residence school through the district’s Intradistrict Open Enrollment process. Open Enrollment transfer applications for the 2026–2027 school year will be available online from November 3, 2025 (7:30 a.m.) through December 5, 2025 (4:30 p.m.). Our winter break begins on Thursday, December 18th, through January 2nd. School resumes on Monday, January 5th, 2026. Happy Holidays to all!

Don Lugo teachers will be offering after-school tutoring in the library Tuesday to Thursday from 3:30pm ~ 4:30pm. Additionally, the district provides online tutoring available 24/7

The West End Seal of Biliteracy is an award given to high school graduates who have demonstrated high proficiency in English and at least one other language. This award is earned by meeting specific criteria, such as passing AP exams, taking a district-approved assessment, or demonstrating high proficiency through coursework.
