Four-Year University or College

  1. Portal
  • Set up your student portal and college email address?
  • Use the student portal to reference schedule and financial aid information and so much more!
  1. Accept Your Offer
  • Log into your student portal and take note of any pivotal deadlines and To-Do’s/Action Items.
  1. Financial Aid
  • Be sure to complete your FAFSA/CADAA application.
  • Review your financial aid options and either accept or decline loans based on your needs. 
  1. Housing
  • If staying on campus, be mindful to submit your housing application and meet all necessary deadlines.
  1. Transcripts
  • Transcripts must be ordered via the Parchment website.
  • Transcripts must be submitted by July 1st or July 15th (check your student portal to confirm applicable date).
  1. Orientation
  • Orientation is traditionally a mandatory program for all newly admitted students. 
  • Register to attend via your student portal.

If you are experiencing problems with your Cal Grants, please contact a representative at (888) 224-7268, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can also email inquires to studentsupport@csac.ca.gov. 

Community College

  1. Set up your student portal and college email.
  2. Complete your online registration.
  3. Schedule a meeting with an academic advisor/counselor.
  4. Check portal for any To-Do’s, class enrollment dates, and/or Holds.
  • Each community college has different registration timelines. Be sure to confirm your college’s dates. 
  1. Register for classes.
