Don Lugo High School proudly recognizes our student-athletes who signed their National Letters of Intent on April 29, 2026. Congratulations to Reno Aceves, Hayden Pitsenberger, and Jenny Alvarez on this outstanding achievement. Hayden will continue her softball career at Clark University, Reno will play football at Utah Tech, and Jenny will compete in soccer at Vanguard University. This accomplishment reflects years of dedication, perseverance, and commitment both in the classroom and in competition. We are proud of each of you and look forward to following your continued success at the collegiate level.

The Don Lugo High School Winter Guard are STATE CHAMPIONS after winning the Winter Guard Association of Southern California Finals on April 18,2026.

Don Lugo High School Jazz Ensemble

The Don Lugo High School Jazz Ensemble earned a fourth place finish at the 51st annual Fullerton College Jazz Festival on April 18, 2026. The ensemble improved by 16 points over their previous festival score.

Don Lugo Students Visit Cisco Meraki

Lugo students visited the Cisco Meraki headquarters in San Francisco to learn about their intuitive technologies and how they optimize IT experiences, secure locations, and seamlessly connect people, places, and things.

Tutoring Available

Don Lugo teachers will be offering after-school tutoring in the library Tuesday to Thursday from 3:30pm ~ 4:30pm. Additionally, the district provides online tutoring available 24/7

West End Seal of Biliteracy

The West End Seal of Biliteracy is an award given to high school graduates who have demonstrated high proficiency in English and at least one other language. This award is earned by meeting specific criteria, such as passing AP exams, taking a district-approved assessment, or demonstrating high proficiency through coursework.
